Thank you to
everyone who made
Art for Haiti
such a huge success.

Our patrons allowed us to donate approximately $1,000 to Community Coalition for Haiti, transforming lives in Haiti for over 25 years through medical, educational, agricultural, economic, & clean water initiatives.

Holly Elkins
As artists, we have the ability to capture people's attention, their hearts and imagination, so if I can use something I'm good at to do something good, then a change, however small, has been made.

As many of us know, on January 12, 2010, a 7.0 magnitude earthquake devastated Port-au-Prince, the capital city of Haiti, the poorest nation in the Western Hemisphere, leading to tens of thousands of bodies being buried beneath the rubble of mass graves, but what many may not know is that Haiti is home to approximately 380,000 orphaned children, more than twice the population of Springfield, MO. Restavecks, child slaves, number 300,000 in Haiti, and in Cite Soleil, a shanty town slum in Port-au-Prince with open trench sewers and rampant crime, a child has only a 50/50 chance of making it to their 5th birthday.
